Saturday 18th July Midday The Brook Farm Residents Association (Bfra) 6th annual Fun Day is on Saturday 18th July at Saxmundham Primary School, a true family and local event. The long list of stall holders and entertainers that we have been able to attract this year has far exceeded any previous event, and each year just gets better. Entry is free to the fun day this year. The annual fun day event is self funding and we do rely heavily on the organisations carrying out displays or running some form of event in return for a donation from us. This is always based on the sum of money we expect to raise on the day. Profits from the Fete are ploughed back in to supplying the best we can afford for people to enjoy throughout the year. The events so far will include, Hollesley Birds of Prey, Mystic Bellydance troupe, Steam Tractor, Police Mobile Wagon, Fire Engine, Dumpling Stud rabbits, Mega slide, Swing boats, running races, tug o war and more stalls than ever before with local crafts on display. The burger and hotdog BBQ will certainly feed you at very competitive prices. There will also be a tea/cake tent and numerous stalls. Saxmundham tennis club will again be setting up the short tennis court all for free. Bring the children and let them enjoy themselves. For the adults, there will be a licensed beer and wine tent. Lots and lots of things to enjoy for a great family day out on your own doorstep. We promise that Bfra 2009 fun day will be the best yet and we look forward to your support. Major constitutional changes and elections of key committee members are to be considered.
